Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Counsel to provide legal analysis, advice, and representation to the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of labor and employment law, as well as excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel to staff on federal and state labor and employment law matters.
- Represent the Authority in litigation before state and federal courts and in administrative and arbitration proceedings.
- Handle substantive and procedural legal matters in labor, employment, wage and hour, unemployment, administrative, arbitration, and litigation areas.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Minimum 3-6 years of experience as an attorney in the field of labor and employment law.
- Admittance in good standing to the bar to practice law in Massachusetts state and federal courts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience representing clients in litigation, administrative proceedings, and arbitrations.
- Strong analytical, research, organizational, and oral and written communications skills.
