Part Time Day Spa Receptionist

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong communication skills, basic math proficiency, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.

SHIFTS: MON 3-8, TUES AND THURS 130-8 or 3-8

Duties

• Greet and welcome clients and visitors in a professional manner.
• Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
• Assist in retail sales by promoting products and services, conducting product demos, and processing transactions.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring it is clean and welcoming at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to support sales efforts and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and sales reporting.
• Manage appointment scheduling and maintain calendars for staff as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role preferred.
• Strong retail sales skills with the ability to sell products effectively.
• Basic math skills, including retail math for transaction handling.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is a plus.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer engagement.
