Sales Associate (Massage Heights Carmel Valley) Part-time, must be able to work a variety of shifts. But currently we are looking for someone that can work several days a week, mostly mid shift to closing. Our hours are 9am - 9pm. Typically we have a set schedule and schedules are made a month in advance.
Let us know what days will work for you, perhaps we can move things around. But, if you can work this schedule, then so much the better. Schedules will typically not change much.
Massage Heights Sales Associate Compensation will scale based on performance. Starting salary will range from $18.00 - $21.00 depending on your ability to meet specific sales targets each month. Plus, we pay bonus and commission on memberships, retail, and meeting specific monthly goals. If you know how to sell memberships the commissions can vary for the month from perhaps $100 up to $1,000 for the strong performers. We encourage those that know how to sell to explore Massage Heights as an option.
If you are someone that has several years of experience, but enjoy the Spa Industry, then you are probably a fit for us. We are specifically looking for a people person looking for a fun job and selling memberships and helping our guests/members.
Compensation can climb significantly based on team performance goals. Massage Heights is looking for only one or two career-minded, outgoing, people-oriented, sales professionals for immediate employment in our very popular Retreat in Carmel Valley/Del Mar area located in San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities and Duties
In this position you are responsible for producing consistent monthly sales by enrolling prospective members in our massage wellness programs. This role entails delivering top-notch customer satisfaction in a professional, therapeutic massage environment. Must be able to think on your feet and help guests understand the benefits of massage/facial therapeutic services.
Duties include:
- Manage the customer experience from beginning to end
- Must like to sell and enjoy selling to the public
- Provide excellent service to members/guests
- Maintain high standards for customer service
- Answer phone calls, make appointments, greet members/guests
- Sell retail products and memberships
- Ability to exceed challenging performance goals by converting prospects to members
- Assist in administrative tasks including filing, member maintenance, reminder calls to clients
- Perform data entry for a variety of tasks specifically client records and surveys
- Maintain cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas
- Help to turn rooms and laundry during busy times
Qualifications and Skills

- Ability to pass a background check
- History of consistent and extended work experience, with supporting references
- Transportation and a valid Driver's License
- Knowledge of Zenoti is a plus or selling in a retail environment
- HS diploma required
