We are seeking an individual with a financial planning or investment management background to fill the position of Investment Operations Specialist.JOB SUMMARY : This job requires producing high-quality detailed work, based on established standards, guidelines, and procedures. The individual will be required to coordinate the efficient processing of client service requests, utilize financial software tools to create proposals and evaluate portfolios, provide various analysis outputs, and work closely with the investment team to help educate, train, and develop investment policies and procedures.This position provides support to a team of financial advisors and will require the ability to multi-task, prioritize workflow, and work effectively as part of a team. Strong computer skills are important, as is the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.This is a full-time position. 9 / 80 work schedule with every other Friday off plus holidays. Salary plus bonus opportunity. Expected salary $45k depending on experience. Full Benefits including 401(k), medical, and dental. In office with potential for hybrid opportunities.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Coordinate client service requests including resolution of compliance requirements
- Preparing applications, reports, and documents for clients
- Execute trades and complete client distribution and contribution requests
- Answer routine client investment questions and coordinate with advisors when needed
- Maintain client records and enter data into proper system
- Support advisors in preparation for client or prospect meetings
- Research and stay up to date on processes, technology, and general investment trendsQUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor's degree or formal training in a related field (finance, banking, etc.)
- 3 years of industry experience preferred
- Series 7 and / or 65 preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work independently and under pressure.
