Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that all aspects of our residential properties are well-maintained and functional. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Fabricate and repair various components as needed for commercial properties.
- Maintain electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Perform painting, landscaping tasks to enhance property aesthetics.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Read and interpret schematics for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with residents and addressing their maintenance concerns.
- Coordinate the bidding process and use of outside contractors including, HVAC, electrician, roofer, window installers, etc.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Proficiency in electrical systems maintenance is preferred.
- Experience in plumbing is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand schematics effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Develop weekly, monthly, quaterly maintenance schedules
