Job Summary:
Southfork, a well-maintained and welcoming 55 manufactured home community, is seeking a reliable Maintenance Worker to help keep our community looking great. This role involves general upkeep, handyman repairs, and ensuring a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on community buildings, common areas, and amenities.
- Keep landscaping, roads, and grounds clean and well-maintained.
- Handle minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general handyman tasks.
- Inspect and maintain community signage, lighting, and fencing.
- Ensure pool, clubhouse, and other amenities are in working order and meet safety standards.
- Assist with trash and debris removal to keep the community clean and presentable.
- Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report any safety hazards or necessary repairs to management.
- Assist with seasonal maintenance tasks, such as painting, or storm preparation.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance, handyman work, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
