Job Responsibilities:
Technicians at MasTec are responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining fiber optic broadband systems and services. This includes installation, repair, splicing, and upgrading of network infrastructure.
Main responsibilities include:
- Installing, splicing, repairing, and terminating fiber-optic cables and connectors inside and outside.
- Documenting all installations, repairs, and equipment used, as well as creating reports and recording network configurations.
- Upholding a high level of ethics, integrity, initiative, flexibility, and accountability.
- Delivering excellent customer service to ensure complete satisfaction.

- Pay range: $22 - $24 per hour
Job Requirements:
- Ability to lift 60-80 pounds and climb ladders up to 36 feet
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug tests, background checks, and driving record assessments
- Available to start by 05/12/25
- Willingness to travel to Charlotte, NC for training (hotel and expenses covered for eligible candidates)
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required
