Description :
The 2nd Class Structural Welder will support the construction of ships and other marine vessels. This role will be contributing to the structural integrity and functionality of marine projects upon successful completion of training.
The schedule for this role has 6 hours of built in overtime. Additional overtime is typically available for those interested.
Full Time Position : Monday-Thursday 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM and Friday 6 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM
Successful candidates will pass a single pass Fillet-Weld Test in the 3g vertical / 4g overhead position(s).

Key Responsibilities :
- Welding Functions : Perform various welding tasks, including Frame Tacking, Non-Watertight Butts, Butt Welding, Pick-up Welding, with a focus on producing consistent, high-quality welds.
- Collaboration : Coordinate close with other welders, pipe fitters, and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
- Safety Compliance : Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
