Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project success. The Estimator will work on a diverse range of projects, including residential, commercial, and institutional buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment for wood framing, interior trim, and exterior siding.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather necessary information.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather data.
- Analyze and compare subcontractor and supplier quotes.
- Monitor and update project costs throughout the project's lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and project costs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on carpentry projects.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of wood framing, interior trim, and exterior siding techniques.

Pay: $61,904.00 - $66,204.00 per year
