Role Overview:
Responsibilities:
1. Drive Growth within Precast Sector:
- Drive growth opportunities across the United States and Canada through our network of concrete industry contacts, customers, sales representatives and new business prospects
- Lead efforts to develop and execute MBS strategies across all precast concrete sectors.
- Lead and direct the Sector Sales Specialists to execute growth strategies primarily within the Structural and Utility precast sectors.
- Assist with developing comprehensive plans for the introduction of new products into the precast sector.
- Primary point of contact within business for Key National Customers
- Drive strong collaboration between the Sector Sales Specialists and the local territory sales teams .
- Assist with opening the doors to unsold customers and assist with testing and industrial trials to increase our market share.
- Collaborate with Strategic Account Management to support RFPs with large national customers.
- Utilize Salesforce for tracking and reporting growth opportunities for new business.
- Primary technical support expert within business for the precast sector to assist with innovation projects, customer trials and training
- Assist with troubleshooting issues related to applications within precast concrete production facilities.
- Collaborate with customers to address specific challenges and tailor solutions to their needs.
- Primary point of contact to provide voice of customer for the precast concrete sector.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops to educate internal teams and customers on the benefits and best practices.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in precast concrete technology and share knowledge within the organization.
- Lead and direct business participation in appropriate industry associations and forums to learn about the needs and trends of the precast concrete industry
- Help demonstrate and create value through innovative and sustainable concrete admixture solutions
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations in the development and application of product portfolio
- Implement and comply with company initiatives, policies and procedures
- A Bachelor's Degree is required, additional experience in lieu of education will be considered
- A minimum of 5 years of recent experience within the precast concrete industry
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in account management and sales, with a demonstrated history of closing new business and driving technology
- A strong understanding of the key drivers within the precast concrete industry (precast specific experience preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of concrete mix designs, concrete admixtures and fibers is required
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate financial and market analysis skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills
- Strong planning and time management skills
- Willingness to travel frequently (50% ) to customer production facilities.
