Taekwondo Instructor

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Taekwondo Instructor to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate has Taekwondo experience and the ability to effectively teach and engage students in a dynamic and supportive environment.
This role involves sharing positive energy with students, building confidence and respect through martial arts training, and implementing effective behavior management strategies to maintain a focused and encouraging atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead Taekwondo classes based on student level and age group
• Instruct small groups ranging from young children to teens
• Support the development of discipline, confidence, respect, and leadership
• Ensure a safe and structured learning environment during all activities
• Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
• Participate in belt tests, school events, demos, and competitions
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and staff to improve curriculum and training quality

Qualifications

• Black belt in Taekwondo (minimum 1st Dan required; teaching experience preferred)
• Experience working with children and teens in an instructional or mentoring role
• Positive, energetic personality with strong communication skills
• Ability to work responsibly and as part of a team
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship not available)
• Availability to teach 2–5 days per week (schedule negotiable)

Pay: $14.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• After school
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
