Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Must have a valid CDL with at least 2 years of driving experience. A clean driving record and the ability to operate both standard and automatic transmission.
The ability to obtain hazardous materials and tanker endorsement within 3 months of hire date including TSA background check.
Can travel and be out of town overnight on occasion with advanced notice.
Heavy lifting.
Have a basic understanding of computers, cell phones and tablets.
Can resolve problems and seek guidance for more complex problems, have good communications skills, work independently and as a team.
Good reading and writing skills.
Can operate safely and legally on all state and federal highways.
Can understand and operate an electric log for DOT regulations.
Can load and unload trucks and trailers using basic equipment such as a pallet jack and/or drum dolly with the ability to learn and operate a forklift with future training.
Process a basic understanding of workflow dynamics and scheduling.
Master Environmental, Inc., is seeking a person who is a highly motivated self-starter that can operate heavy trucks safely and efficiently both interstate and intra-state. This position consists mainly of driving, loading and unloading all types of waste for safe transport from multiple vendors and customers including liquid and solid waste which requires an active class A CDL, tank and hazardous waste endorsements and the ability to pass a background check as well as obtain and keep the required DOT medical certificate. We pick up waste in small and large quantity box utility trailers, small pickups, pump trucks and tractor/trailer combination tanker trucks and trailers. We transport from the vendor/customer sites to the disposal site. We do industrial cleaning of tanks, parts washer and vacuum truck work, heavy lifting, industrial environments.
