Overview
Developing, modifying and improving experimental protocols aimed at determining the potential of the AIR, ProLease and Medisorb technologies for new therapeutic indications.
Responsibilities
Recognizing technical and/or interpretive problems with protocols and results as well as devising appropriate solutions/alternatives. Conducting high level experimentation with minimal or no supervision in specialized area or areas. Organizing and handling data from collection through final graphic and descriptive presentation. Maintaining detailed and accurate scientific records of experimental findings and general observations. Routine experimentation as well as the developing new techniques and models. Pointing out potential technical problems with experiments or protocols and helping devise appropriate solutions or alternatives. Helping maintain a high standard of professionalism, dedication, commitment and scientific rigor and integrity. Providing a model for the other members of the Biological Research group. Providing intellectual leadership to the group.
Qualifications
MS with 2 years of experience or BS with 5 years experience in Animal handling, Drug administration, Behavioral testing, Immunocytochemistry, Cell implantation, Tissue sectioning, Tissue preparation for autoradiography and scintillation counts. Excellent written/verbal/presentation skills. Attention to detail. Willingness to work on a team.
