Job description
We are looking for a motivated skilled assistant project manager to support the planning and execution of all MMW projects. The ideal candidate will partner with our project management team to monitor internal/external communication, meet crucial deadlines, organize pertinent information, and facilitate the completion of projects to Master Millwork standards. Our APMs are team players that identify/resolve potential issues and are expected to continuously learn the ever-evolving ins and outs of our business and the construction industry.
A successful candidate should be able to assist in the oversight of project activities, identify issues, and help the project management team with resolutions and clerical tasks.
Responsibilities:
* Communicating between departments, project site staff and vendors.
* Contributing to the coordination and planning of projects.
* Researching information as required.
* Performing administrative tasks such as preparing change orders, maintaining document logs, scheduling meetings, etc.
* Keeping track of and reporting on project activities and progress.
* Reviewing construction drawings and schedules.
* Creating material takeoffs and obtaining vendor quotes
* Manage submittal workflows from creation to completion.
* Ensuring all project deliverables are completed.
Requirements:
* High school diploma/GED required.
* Degree in construction management or a related field preferred.
* Experience in the commercial construction industry referred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Highly organized and able to multitask.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and follow-up skills, both verbal and written.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* AutoCAD experience is plus.”
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
