About the Role
Master Roofing Inc. is seeking a seasoned Director of Operations to lead and scale our operational infrastructure as we continue on our mission to revolutionize the roofing industry. This role is designed for a high-level operator who thrives in fast-paced environments, knows how to lead teams to victory, and can execute with precision.
The right candidate brings 5 years of experience in construction (roofing preferred), has led production and ops teams at scale, and ideally has hands-on experience using ServiceTitan to manage workflows, job costing, scheduling, and reporting. You'll be responsible for overseeing our entire operations pipeline—from project scheduling, permitting, inspections, crew logistics, and materials procurement, to post-job quality control and customer satisfaction.
As Director of Operations, you’ll play a key role in helping us reach our vision of becoming a $1 billion/year company, serving over 50,000 clients annually. You’ll ensure every job reflects our commitment to quality, innovation, and a world-class customer experience.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead all field and internal operations, including production scheduling, permitting, inspections, job closeouts, and process development.
- Oversee and mentor project managers, coordinators, and crew leads—ensuring alignment, accountability, and performance across the board.
- Own the entire production pipeline, making sure every job runs on time, within budget, and exceeds customer expectations.
- Use ServiceTitan to drive visibility, automation, and efficiency in job tracking, costing, material planning, and communication.
- Develop and enforce SOPs to ensure consistency, safety, and scalability.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, HR, and Finance to ensure operational alignment with broader company objectives.
- Ensure all projects are in compliance with local codes and industry regulations.
- Report KPIs weekly and lead ops meetings to identify bottlenecks and unlock growth opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement through innovation, team development, and data-driven decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of operations leadership experience in construction (roofing preferred).
- Strong background in production, project scheduling, permitting, and team management.
- Proficiency in ServiceTitan (preferred) or other job management platforms.
- Systems thinker with a proven ability to scale operations and lead teams in high-growth environments.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Highly organized, solutions-oriented, and driven by results—not just activity.
