Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage inventory control processes, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
- Provide training and support to walk-in customers and contractors on new and current product lines.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
- Monitor profit loss metrics to identify areas for improvement in operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to warehouse management.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and prepare reports for upper management.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely as needed.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Experience with tile industry is highly desirable.
- Proficient in inventory control techniques and software systems.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
