Warehouse Specialist

Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of construction, have experience speaking with contractors and customers, proficient with outgoing and incoming phone calls, written and verbal communication skills, experience in the tile industry and the tools used in it. Purchase ordering, Inventory, and Organization are also necessary for this role.

Must be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs. on a regular basis. The Warehouse/Sales Associate position plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all logistics and supply chain processes run smoothly and efficiently. This position involves maintaining a safe and organized environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of warehouse operations, including experience with vendors, receiving, and working with contractors.

Responsibilities

- Speaking with contractors and recruitment of new accounts
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Manage receiving, storing of products and orders
- Provide support to walk-in customers and contractors on new and current product lines.

Skills
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations
- Experience with tile installation is highly desirable, but will train.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but not required at hiring.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across departments and with external partners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
