What are the responsibilities and job description for the Door Prep Finish Superintendent position at MasterBrand Cabinets LLC?

As the Superintendent you will be responsible for planning monitoring and scheduling staff and work operations for the Finish department in a safe and efficient manner. This position is also responsible for employment decisions reviews and overall development of direct reports. This role supports 1st shift which runs 6 : 00 am 4 : 30 pm Monday Thursday.

Organizational Relationship :

This position will report to the Door Prep & Finish Manufacturing Manager.

Key Accountabilities

Providing leadership and continuous improvement to the team in the areas of safety quality cost / productivity and delivery.
Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
Providing necessary resources and training coaches / mentors associates on behavior relevant to MBCI values policies procedures and performance standards.
Analyzing production schedules and estimates employee hour requirements and establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet production schedules.
Developing and maintaining a working relationship with the manufacturing associates ensuring the adherence to MasterBrand Cabinets Success Model.
Evaluating needs and requirements for new products or processes.

Education & Experience

3 years experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated team participation and / or leadership and related continuous improvement successes.

A sound working knowledge and application of lean manufacturing principles.

Strong analytical problem solving delegation and conflict resolution skills.

Exceptional leadership interpersonal and organizational skills.

Ability to maintain the professional competence knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.

BS in Engineering Business or a related field required
