What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Worker (Toddler Teacher) position at Masterbuilt Kids Early Childhood Center LLC?
As a Toddler Childcare Worker, you will play a key role in creating a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate space for our toddlers. You’ll help guide them through important milestones, encourage their natural curiosity, and support their social-emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on care, supervision, and engagement for toddlers (18 months - 2 years)
- Assist with daily routines, including diapering, feeding, nap time, and potty training
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that promote language, motor, and social development
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and co-workers
- Support children in learning self-help skills and positive social behaviors
- Adapt to the changing needs of the classroom and step in where needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom
- Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations
What We’re Looking For:
- A flexible and team-oriented mindset to adjust to the needs of toddlers
- A compassionate caregiver who understands the emotional needs of young children
- A high-energy individual who can keep up with active toddlers and engage them throughout the day
- Experience working with toddlers in a childcare setting is preferred
- Ability to lift 30 lbs, get down to a child’s level, and be active throughout the day
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus
