Senior Analyst, Meeting & Travel Services
Overview:
The Meeting & Travel Services team is looking for a Senior Analyst, Meeting & Travel Services to support large events and to plan small to mid-size meetings and events. The ideal candidate is passionate about the meeting, event and hospitality industry, is customer oriented, highly motivated, intellectually curious, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
Role:
In this client-facing position, you will:
- Support aspects of larger meetings such as hotel sourcing, rooming lists, attendee management, ground transportation, food and beverage, virtual technology and other logistics as needed.
- Manage a portfolio of smaller, less complex meetings.
- Liaise with mid-level leaders to define the scope and objectives of the meeting program.
- Implement a strategy for assigned meetings and build a comprehensive project plan to deliver on meeting objectives and execution of logistics including:
Managing the event budget
Managing 3rd party suppliers
Ensuring policy compliance
- Driving cost savings and efficiencies
- Proficient in the Cvent Technology Tool
All About You:
- Ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Strong budget, forecasting and analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills
- Advanced experience within the meetings, events and/or hospitality industry
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and remain calm and professional at all times
- Communicates effectively with all levels of management
- Ability to work accurately and timely manner
- Agile and with ability to adapt well to change
- Advanced working knowledge of Cvent Technology Tool
