Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented to perform the duties of a Press Operator. This position will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality production and customer satisfaction by handling tasks related to press operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate presses and secondary equipment.
- Weigh, cut, and arrange raw materials.
- Load materials into the press and remove finished parts.
- De-flash and assemble parts using hand tools and pneumatic tools.
- Inspect parts for cosmetic and functional compliance.
- Ensure parts are properly tagged and processes are followed.
Qualifications:
- Ability to Read and Write
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 6 months of manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow work instructions accurately.
- Reliable with strong attendance.
- Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and lift 50 lbs. regularly.
- Use of hand tools, pneumatic tools, and other production equipment.
- Requires vision abilities including close vision, depth perception, and color vision.
Work Environment:
- Loud manufacturing environment near moving mechanical parts.
