Demand Planner

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Demand Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that products are available to meet customer needs while minimizing excess stock. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain management and data analysis skills to optimize our inventory control processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical methods and market analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and logistics, to gather insights and align on demand planning strategies.
• Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchase orders accordingly to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Utilize SAP ERP systems to track inventory movements and manage product lifecycle effectively.
• Analyze historical sales data to identify trends and make informed recommendations for future demand planning.
• Participate in regular meetings with supply chain teams to discuss forecasts, inventory issues, and potential supply disruptions.
• Support product management initiatives by providing insights on demand trends and customer preferences.

Experience

• Proven experience in demand planning or a related field within supply chain management.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools
• Familiarity with inventory control processes and logistics operations.
• Experience with SAP ERP systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data clearly.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement in demand planning processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
