We are looking to hire an experienced Math Instructor to be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies to enhance students' mathematical proficiency. Subjects include Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre Calculus, AP Calculus AB/BC, and AP Statistics. Your expertise will be vital in creating engaging and innovative mathematics curricula, promoting problem-solving skills, and supporting students' academic growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Math Instructor to make a positive impact on students' language acquisition and help them achieve their language learning goals. This is a Flexible, Part-Time opportunity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Math or any related field (required)
- Master's degree in Math or related field from an accredited college or university (preferred)
- Bilingual in Mandarin or experienced with students who speak Mandarin (required)
- 1 year experience as a Math instructor or tutor (required)
- Successful track record of developing student’s knowledge in learning Math (required)
- Professional communication skills (both spoken and written)
- Competent in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Able to work independently and collaborate with a team
- Enthusiastic about working with students and parents
- Able to maintain strict confidentiality
- Highly organized and detail oriented (attention to detail and accuracy is imperative)

JOB DUTIES:
- Collaborate with the Director of Curriculum Development to develop lesson plans and curricula as needed
- Deliver interactive and engaging English lessons that promote the development of speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Assess students' progress through regular evaluations, including tests, assignments, and participation, and provide constructive feedback to support their language development.
- Provide homework help as needed
- Able to lead a classroom of students effectively and work efficiently with students
- Good classroom management skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
