Job Description: As a Cheese Production Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing bulk cheese to production lines and operating cheese cutting/shredding equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Manual lifting and carrying of cheese weighing up to 40 pounds
- Removing packaging from cheese
- Inspecting bulk cheese for mold or contaminants and removing them accordingly
- Lifting and placing cheese on conveyors, with weights ranging from 5 to 40 pounds per lift
- Operating automated and manual cutting systems
- Operating shredding equipment
- Maintaining records of bulk cheese usage using RF inventory scanners
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Frequent reaching, grasping, and lifting of up to 40 pounds, with occasional lifts of up to 60 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
