As an Accounting Clerk you will be responsible for organizing and filing documents for the Finance Department as well as overall maintanance of the financial records. You must be able to meet deadlines and demonstrate excellent attention to details.
Job Description
Masters, Mates and Pilots Benefit Plans are multi-employer benefit plans that were established pursuant to collective bargaining agreements between signatory companies and the International Organization of Masters, Mates & Pilots (MM&P) and provide health, pension, vacation, training and 401(k) benefits primarily to members of MM&P.
MM&P members are professional mariners that include US-Coast Guard licensed masters and mates on US-flag commercial vessels on international voyages, on the inland waterways and on civilian-crewed ships in the federal government fleet, and masters, mates and other marine personnel who work on tugs, ferries, dredges and harbor tour vessels throughout the United States.
Duties
- Properly code and enter bills into the ERP system
- Populate daily cash reports
- Prepare and process check payments
- Investigate and void monthly stale checks
- Other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications
- HS/GED required, AA or Certificate in Account a plus.
- Three (3) years of AP experience, accounting principles and ERP systems (Dynamics).
- MS Word, Outlook, Teams & Excel with SUM, IF, SUMIF, V&XL-LOOKUP & Pivot tables.
- Experience with intercompany or multiple subsidiary environments a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required.

The successful candidate must agree to join the International Organization of Masters, Mates & Pilots and, respectively, pay initiation of union dues. EOE.
