What you will be doing:

You will be the interface between masterswitch IT and our client base, working as part of a highly focused team, delivering technology solutions and support in diverse environments, and making recommendations across a broad area of information technology. You will also be contributing to ongoing efforts to streamline internal processes and methods of client service delivery. Opportunities to explore new platforms and technology challenges are encouraged, supported, and rewarded.

You will be responsible for:

• Working with the team to design, implement, and maintaining our clients infrastructure and responding to support requests both remotely and on-site at a client location when required.
• Helping build secure infrastructure that meets client industry requirements
• Managing and maintaining disparate infrastructure across a broad range of industries
• Helping cross-discipline co-workers when asked and taking the initiative to reach out to co-workers when you feel you have something to contribute
• Facilitating customer communication, education, and satisfaction
• Staying current on the latest and greatest technologies
  
  

Skills And Job Requirements

How you got here isn’t as important as what you know and how you share that knowledge. But you will need the following to succeed:

• 5 years IT support experience required
• 2 years experience working with the Windows Server platform and configuration best-practices required
• Knowledgeable in Active Directory, Group Policy, backup strategies and solutions, Hyper-V configuration and management, Azure infrastructure
• Solid understanding of network protocols and server hardware
• 1 year working for a managed service provider preferred
• Strong aptitude for identifying problems, evaluating options, and implementing effective resolutions
• Candidates must be able to travel onsite to client sites and work from our NE Minneapolis when required. M-F 8am-5pm. This role has hybrid flexibility but not at a fixed cadence.
