We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support the accounting department by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This role is essential in helping to manage accounts payable, perform reconciliations, and analyze financial data to support effective budgeting and reporting.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Support budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data and insights.
- Utilize accounting software and financial software for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures.
