Rate: $ 25 - 38/hr
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled End Support Consultant with expertise in VOIP (Voice over IP) and Softphone systems to provide technical support for clients in and around the Detroit area. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting, installing, and configuring VOIP solutions, along with a deep understanding of Softphone technology. This role requires on-site visits to customer locations, with all travel expenses paid by the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for VOIP and Softphone systems, ensuring efficient performance and resolving any issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot VOIP systems at customer sites.
- Assist clients with Softphone setup, including installation, configuration, and connectivity issues.
- Train end-users on VOIP and Softphone systems, ensuring proper use and troubleshooting techniques.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve system functionality.
- Travel to various customer locations within the Detroit area to provide on-site support.
- Document all support requests and solutions in the ticketing system.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VOIP and Softphone technologies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with VOIP systems and Softphone technology.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to travel frequently within the Detroit area for on-site visits.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in a client-facing support role is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
