The Position :
The Director of Development and Estate Giving is responsible for engaging the time and talent of alumni, parents, and friends in the process of securing major and planned gifts with a primary focus on emerging leaders and estate giving.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and Execute Fundraising Strategies : Develop and execute a program to engage alumni, parents, and friends, identifying prospects and creating tailored strategies to align their interests with Taylors mission.
- Cultivate and Solicit Support : Orchestrate meaningful engagements to build commitment and solicit contributions aligned with the universitys mission.
- Steward Gifts and Build Expertise : Steward major gifts, learn planned giving strategies, and collaborate with the Planned Giving Director.
- Collaborate Across University Teams : Work with leadership, teams, and attend key events to support fundraising efforts.
- Manage Portfolio and Achieve Fundraising Goals : Handle a portfolio of 150 prospects. Conduct a minimum of 150 face-to-face visits annually and aim for fundraising commitments of $11.5 million per year.
