Position Summary :
Assists in both registration and rooming of patients.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assists with in office procedures
- Collects vitals, weight, and patient information and completes any intial testing in preparation for provider
- Completes medication reconciliation
- Orders any testing or labs requested by provider
- Completes all Prior Authorizations for tests and surgeries ordered
- Efficiently conducts check-in, check-out, and rescheduling procedures as needed
- Prepare meds for injections
- Call patients with results
- Complete FMLA paperwork
- Maintain stock
- Scan / index medical records
- Performs other duties as assigned
