MATClinics is excited to announce an opening for a Research Assistant to join our dedicated team at the TREETOP Research Center. This NIH-funded initiative is committed to developing effective, equitable, and sustainable interventions for chronic pain and opioid use disorder (OUD). We are looking for a proactive and organized individual to support our research efforts, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to study protocols. Who We Are: MATClinics specializes in helping individuals overcome addiction, including opioid, alcohol, and stimulant use disorders. Our services are uniquely tailored to each patient, encompassing Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), substance use counseling, mental health therapy, and psychiatric care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere strictly to study protocols while maintaining the confidentiality of participant data.
- Manage all aspects of participant interaction from recruitment, screening, enrollment, and follow-up.
- Conduct detailed chart reviews to identify and confirm participant eligibility.
- Collaborate effectively with clinicians and staff to facilitate participant identification.
- Obtain informed consent from participants and monitor for any complications or issues during the study.
- Schedule and monitor participant follow-up visits, ensuring accurate data collection and entry into electronic databases.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including case report forms at each visit.
- Handle the processing, tracking, and disbursement of participant payments.
- Engage actively with the research team to resolve any issues and contribute to ongoing study evaluations.
- Regularly communicate study progress and address any concerns during meetings with research leadership.
Position Duration:
- Start Date: April 1, 2025, or as soon as possible.
- End Date: June 30, 2026.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proven experience in clinical trials or patient relations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and REDCap.
