Quality Engineer – Matcor Matsu
Location : Ionia, MI.
Department : Quality.
Reports To : Quality Manager.

Matcor Automotive has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join our team and help launch new business. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and driven to succeed. Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, maintain, and publish quality documentation, ensuring compliance with customer standards (Control Plans, Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Work Instructions, etc.).
- Support APQP processes with quality input and information.
- Prepare PPAP documentation and assist with process certification during launches and engineering changes.
- Analyze and interpret GD&T drawings, CMM reports, and provide direction to production teams.
- Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methodologies, and quality plans.
- Lead corrective actions for internal and external quality issues.
- Interface with suppliers and customers to address quality concerns and ensure effective resolutions.
- Support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and assist with internal / external quality audits.
- Travel to customer and supplier sites as needed (day trips, no overnight travel required).
