Mater Dei High School, a Catholic, co-educational, college preparatory high school of the Diocese of Orange has an immediate opening for a Head Girl’s Lacrosse Coach
Off-season position starts immediately
In-season position starts January 27, 2025, to April 23, 2025
Range: $10,000-$15,000 BOE
Qualified candidates will:
Be responsible for managing all aspects of the girl’s lacrosse program, including team practices, performances, competitions, lower-levels and the development of athletes.
Develop, organize, and manage the entire sports program, including off-season, pre-season, in-season, and post-season activities.
Oversee assistant coaches and ensure they adhere to school and athletic department policies.
Collaborate with Campus Ministry and support the spiritual growth of student-athletes.
Coordinate with the school’s communication and marketing departments for any public or media engagements.
Participate in fundraising efforts as needed to support the program.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CIF eligibility requirements and ensure all athletes meet these standards.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience/Required Skills
Previous experience coaching lacrosse at the high school or collegiate level.
Strong knowledge of lacrosse leading techniques and safety protocols.
Ability to lead and mentor student-athletes and assistant coaches.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
