Exciting and growing asbestos testing company in the LA market looking for a Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule or dispatch workers to appropriate locations, according to customer requests, specifications, or needs
- Receive or prepare work orders, creating daily work and run schedules
- Maintain and develop positive business relationships with customers addressing questions, problems, or requests for service
- Relay work orders, messages, or information to or from workers, supervisors, or field inspectors
- Manage subcontractor activities, reviewing proposals, developing performance specifications, and serving as liaisons between subcontractors and customers
- Receive payment and record receipts for services
Job Qualifications
- Great speaking skills, ability to talk with others to convey information effectively
- Great listening skills, giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate
- Customer and service focused, actively looking for ways to help people
- Strong critical thinking, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
