Job Summary
Material handlers responsible for organizing, moving, cleaning, inspecting and packaging various products that can be handled without forklifts. Material handlers are accountable for maintaining flow of products and cleanliness of work areas.
Duties/Responsibilities

• Operate machinery needed to complete the processes outlined.
• Scan products and follow instructions for the task.
• Report/resolve concerns with help from lead or supervisor.
• Cleaning tasks are included as position rotations require.
• Able to help where needed per supervisor and managers request.
• Material Handler positions generally consist of Tote Line, Commissioning, Processing Line, & Trash/Waste Processing.

• Ability to interpret verbal instructions and establish precise communication with supervisors and peers.

• Able to use and operate scanners, walkies and other business equipment.
Work environment
Extreme weather conditions may occur with exposure to temperature and noise level variations. Work is performed in a fast-paced environment with forklift traffic.
Physical demands
Steadiness of limbs and body.
Requires ability to team lift 50 pounds occasionally and solo lift 25 pounds frequently (may lift above 50 pounds with adequate assistances or mechanical aid).
Requires performing physical activity using your entire body including; standing, stooping, kneeling, bending.
Ability to see, smell, touch, feel and utilize finger dexterity and limb coordination.
Ability to read, write, speak and hear in English.
Participation in hearing conservation program, as necessitated by process determined with safety team.
Preferred experience
• Previous experience working in similar environment.
Work authorization/security clearance requirements
Must be eligible to prove ability to work legally in the United States.
