Job Summary :
MHI is seeking a Rental & Used Equipment Manager to oversee the successful operation of rental departments within an assigned area. This role is responsible for maintaining a used truck inventory, managing long-term and short-term rental programs, and sourcing and selling wholesale equipment for both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to lead rental operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
Long-Term Rental (LTR) Management
- Ensure LTR financial performance aligns with MHI’s financial model.
- Drive year-over-year growth of LTR programs in assigned area.
- Develop and manage all MHI LTR documents, including client and company obligations.
- Provide competitive LTR programs and rate calculations for the sales team.
- Manage asset tracking, maintenance, and return processes using AS400 and Record360.
- Oversee billing, invoicing, and annual account reviews for LTR clients.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules with service, parts, and AMP departments.
- Lead monthly LTR meetings and ongoing training sessions for the sales team.
- Develop LTR marketing programs and assist in creating new rental offerings.
