**Job Title: Manufacturing Plant Manager – Returnable Packaging Fabrication Facility**

### **About the Role:**
We are seeking a highly skilled **Plant Manager** to lead operations at our high-volume returnable fabrication facility- foam - plastic & textile. This role requires a leader with deep expertise in **manufacturing, material procurement, fabrication processes, product yields, and machinery**. Our facility specializes in **automotive packaging, textile packaging, foam packaging, and corrugated packaging**, with a strong emphasis on **quality and on-time delivery**.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for **overseeing production, coordinating with engineering, fabrication, and quality teams, and ensuring efficient shipping and delivery**. This is a **hands-on leadership role** that requires **technical expertise, operational excellence, and strong communication skills**.
### **Key Responsibilities:**
- **Oversee daily operations** of the returnable fabrication facility, ensuring high-quality production and on-time delivery.
- **Manage procurement and material planning** to optimize costs and efficiency.
- **Ensure machinery and equipment are operating efficiently** and work with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- **Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and quality teams** to ensure product designs are manufacturable and meet customer specifications.
- **Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles** to drive continuous improvement, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
- **Monitor product yields and production efficiencies** to optimize throughput and reduce costs.
- **Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards** at all times.
- **Manage shipping and logistics** to ensure on-time delivery of finished products.
- **Develop and mentor plant personnel**, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
### **Required Qualifications:**
- **Bachelor’s degree** in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- **Proven experience in high-volume manufacturing**, preferably in textile fabrication or packaging.
- Strong knowledge of **fabrication processes, machinery, product yields, and materials**.
- Experience leading **cross-functional teams** including engineering, fabrication, and quality.
- Solid understanding of **lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and APICS principles** (certifications are a plus).
- Ability to **analyze product designs** and understand their impact on manufacturability and cost.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with **logistics, shipping, and supply chain operations**.

- Lean Six Sigma certification
- APICS (Association for Supply Chain Management) certification.
