Position Overview: We are seeking reliable and hardworking Production Operators to join our manufacturing team. The Production Operator will be responsible for performing various tasks in the manufacturing process. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assembly and manufacturing tasks according to production specifications and quality standards.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols and guidelines (ovens, part cleaning equipment, scales, various shop tools)
- Inspect products for defects or irregularities and report any issues to supervisors.
- Package finished products for shipment according to customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste and recycling materials properly.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistent quality and efficiency in production.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Participate in training and development activities to enhance job skills.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
- Understand use of metrology equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn new tasks and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Basic math skills with the ability to read and understand production documents.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, following all safety procedures.
