Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations in the center.
- Screen, hire, train, and schedule employees to effectively provide individualized instruction in a group setting via in-center, online, and/or hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method.
- Lead and motivate team members by developing them professionally and personally.
- Market the Mathnasium program by building relationships with schools and businesses, including conducting visits to promote the program and explore partnership opportunities.
- Leverage social media platforms to promote events, share success stories, and create engaging content to attract prospective families.
- Conduct sales by promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students, using persuasive communication techniques to effectively convey the benefits of the Mathnasium program.
- Utilize social media channels to engage with current and potential customers, showcasing student achievements, sharing educational tips, and creating an inviting online community.
- Administer student assessments, identify learning gaps, and develop customized learning plans.
- Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress through regular updates and proactive outreach.
- Monitor and grow overall center performance metrics, including profitability and student success.
- Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
- Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer relationships & sales experience.
- Passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance various leadership responsibilities
- Eagerness to learn and be trained
- Proficiency in computer skills and social media
- Previous management or leadership experience preferred

Additional Responsibilities:
In addition to conducting all the tasks and maintaining all the competencies of the center director position, Center Directors are required to have knowledge and be competent on all the tasks and competencies of the Instructor, Lead Instructor, and Assistant Center Director positions as well. These tasks and competencies can be found in the Instructor, Lead Instructor, and Assistant Center Director Job Descriptions, respectively.
Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC (\Mathnasium\). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center.
