Every day, students around the world attend Mathnasium learning centers to boost their math skills. We teach math in a way that makes sense to students in 1st grade through high school.

Position Overview
The Center Manager will possess proven leadership, relational, and organizational skills to successfully operate a learning center.
S/he will demonstrate exceptional:
- customer service,
- sales / parent relationship-building,
- instructional leadership, and
- ability to forge community partnerships.
Responsibilities
Build rapport with parents and effectively convey the benefits of Mathnasium and our commitment to help their students be successful in Math, resulting in student enrollment and retention.
Lead a team of Instructors to deliver instruction that aligns with Mathnasium methodology and create a fun, welcoming environment.
Participate in local marketing events, initiate and foster collaborative relationships with local schools and community organizations.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year related experience (sales, marketing and/or education), with a strong focus on building relationships.
Proven excellent problem-solving and communication skills including tact and diplomacy.
Collaborative leadership: ability to train and engage staff as well as delegate responsibilities.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Have a love for math and enthusiasm for working with children!
More Details
This is a position with an initial hourly wage of $24 - $26. As we are a growing organization, there is significant upside potential going forward, both in compensation and scope of responsibilities.
We can be flexible with days/times -- ideally 32 - 36 hours weekly within the range of 12pm - 8pm Monday through Thursday, and 1pm to 6pm on Sundays, plus meetings and community events that may fall outside of these hours.
