POSITION SUMMARY
Rochester Sand & Gravel is seeking a qualified full-time Accounting and Contract Administrator to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Accounting and Contract Administrator will work closely with the Division Controller, and support Area and Project Managers.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to :
- Communicate effectively and professionally with team members, customers and vendors to support business functions as needed.
- Accounts payable invoice review and approval.
- Review accounting procedures to ensure accuracy and proper coding.
- Work with the ERP System (construction software package Viewpoint Vista) to provide information for efficient business operations.
- Experience in red-lining contracts, with the ability to understand contract provisions
- Coordinate and process project contracts and procurement requirements
- Credit card management
- Coordinate and track vehicle registration and licensing
- Assign fuel keys and reconcile fuel invoices
- Crosstrain in other areas of the business as needed
This is a full-time hourly position located on-site in Rochester, MN working Monday through Friday.

Starting Wage $25 - $35 / HR with the possibility of some seasonal overtime (May-October). Competitive benefits and retirement program includes health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance. Paid time off and holidays are available immediately.
