Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Duration: 18 Month W2 Contract
Location: Pennington, NJ | Charlotte, NC | Plano, TX
Required Pay Scale: $75-$80/hour
Position Responsibilities
The DevOps Engineer will support daily CI/CD on-boarding activities in alignment with an internal Bank of America application.
• Daily execution of build ops in an automated and continuous process
• Jenkins Continuous Integration Server-Installation, Configuration, Design and Administration and integrating these tools with other systems
• Hands-on design, build, deployment and support of code
• Write ansible playbooks
• managing continuous build, test and deploy processes
• Create Jenkins pipeline
• Troubleshoot build and deploy failures, and facilitate resolution
• Improve speed, efficiency and scalability of the continuous integration environment
• Communicate status frequently to product teams and engineering program managers.
• Document any new process or update an existing wiki page
Technical Skills:
Jenkins Continuous Integration Server-Installation, Configuration, Design and Administration and integrating these tools with other system
Hands on experience in creating build scripts using ANT and Maven
Writing ansible playbooks
Soft Skills:
Team player that likes to work closely with Support, Development, and Engineering groups.
Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively across various business and technical groups.
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships.
DESIRED technical and soft skills
Technical Skills:
Jenkins
Ansible
Basic understanding of Java coding concepts
eCommerce domain knowledge
Experience in Agile development
