Job Title : Senior Product Owner / Product Manager

Location : Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid Onsite 3x per week)

Contract : 6 months Contract to Hire

Rate : $70-75 / hr W2

Project :

Pricing project in which this person will be helping to create custom pricing schemas for clients who work with HD Supply. The team is building a customer specific pricing tool that changes contracted prices and communicates those price changes to customers. This project is a 3-5 year project, so more roles to come as they ramp up.

A product owner is responsible for managing the product development process by gathering feature requests, prioritizing the product backlog, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the product meets customer needs, and ultimately delivering maximum value by making strategic decisions about product features and releases throughout the development cycle; they act as the primary point of contact between the development team and stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable development tasks

Key Responsibilities :

• Product backlog management
• Creating, maintaining, and prioritizing the product backlog, which includes user stories, epics, and bugs, to align with business objectives
• Customer focus
• Gathering and understanding customer needs, translating them into product requirements, and ensuring the product delivers value to the target audience.
• Collaboration with development team
• Clearly communicating product vision, priorities, and acceptance criteria to the development team during sprint planning and throughout the development process.
• Release planning
• Defining product roadmap, scheduling releases, and managing sprint goals to deliver features on time
• Stakeholder communication
• Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on product progress and addressing concerns.
• Quality assurance
• Reviewing product deliverables to ensure they meet acceptance criteria and quality standards. Working with the QA / QE team to make sure of test coverage.
