Office Assistant

Location: 2130 Sawtelle, Los Angeles (Historic Little Osaka)

Pay: Salary, **$40,000 USD** annual, paid monthly.

In-person: Must

Role: **Personal Assistant to the Matt and MATOBA.** (Meaning both myself and the company, though it's a small company.)

Requirements: Experience in assisting. Doesn't have to be to a CEO or something, assistant around a family business can count. Must be local to Los Angeles area and with 60 minute or less commute. Must speak English, must be willing to learn some basic Japanese or can already speak it. Must have driver's license. Must have a good memory. Mustn't take bullshit- in more specific terms, people have started fights, both verbal and literal, with me over our work. A perfect employee won't leave me hanging if someone starts swinging. It's fine to hate speaking, but there are many times our work involves being bold without warning, and that is a must. (For example, if I can probably park somewhere, don't argue with me about whether it's fine or not. If I need to speak with a winner about their winnings *now*, before someone else does, you mustn't hesitate, and you certainly musn't hold me back. To be clear, I'll never ask anything illegal, but I do often have to do things that annoy people.)

Description of work: Small things like picking up food and things that are much more interesting like sorting never before seen trading cards. A usual day will start at the office and will involve processing detective cases or founds items and general office maintenance, documenting those items for history or gallery, then mailing / etc. To be clear, activities will be widely ranging, as MATOBA's activities are widely ranging.
