Matrix Drilling Products is seeking a dependable, honest, and enthusiastic individual to join our growing organization as a General Laborer. The General Laborer supports the daily manufacturing work schedule, meeting all goals of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

This position is for first shift (M-F; 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.). Salary range ($16.00 to $16.50 per hour) based on experience. Additionally, Matrix offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Outline

· Report to work on time and per work schedule. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential job responsibility.

• Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate administrator.
• Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, operate hand tools, and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain housekeeping excellence.
• Must be able to lift, push or pull ~ 50 pounds on a routine basis
• Walk, stand, bend and kneel throughout a shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized work space.
• Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills.
• Minor Maintenance grounds repairs
• Make shipping boxes and crates to safeguard our customers products
• Return any unused material back to inventory stock with proper labeling and to the original inventory location

Job Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED
• One or more years of related experience in an industrial setting

Knowledge Requirements

• Ability to read and understand technical information along with equipment manual instructions
• Basic math and counting skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Basic carpenter skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and exchange information

Other Requirements

• The selected candidate will be required to pass a MVR, Drug, background, and reference screening
