CAD Draftsman Associate

Job Description:
***This is a entry level position.***As a CAD Designer/Drafter, you will be responsible for creating and modifying 2D and 3D designs for a variety of projects. Your expertise in AutoDesk and Inventor will be essential in developing accurate and detailed drawings, models, and prototypes. Our company specializes in custom metal fabrication by utilizing CNC machines and Laser Tables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and modify detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoDesk AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Collaborate with design team members to ensure designs meet project requirements and specifications.
• Create technical drawings, schematics, and layouts for manufacturing and assembly.
• Perform design analysis, model validation, and make adjustments based on feedback.
• Maintain and organize CAD files and design documentation.
• Assist in the creation of product prototypes and refine designs based on testing and analysis.
• Troubleshoot design issues and recommend solutions to optimize functionality, cost, and performance.
• Ensure that designs adhere to industry standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CAD Designer/Drafter with proficiency in AutoDesk AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Strong understanding of engineering design principles and drafting standards.
• Experience in creating 2D and 3D drawings, models, and assemblies.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials.
• Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Associate’s in Drafting and Design

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
