Job Summary The Director, Project Controls will be responsible for providing leadership, tactical direction and general manager for all project controls and document control functions. Reporting to the President, the position is accountable for establishing and maintaining effective and efficient processes, procedures, internal controls, objectives and strategic plans to optimize operational and financial performance. The Director is responsible for ensuring functional resources are delivering quality work products, on schedule and budget and prioritizing the work and knows when to act with a sense of urgency. Recognizing each industry and client requires an adaptable approach, this position is required to exercise judgment in conjunction with managers and operations to ensure the needs for the project are met. This position is also responsible for working with functional supervisors and managers to ensure the team is trained and mentored. Essential Functions

- Interacts with leaders in other Matrix Service Company subsidiaries to assure their team is supporting the larger business and addressing any needed improvements.
- Foster and further develop a success and results-oriented culture.
- Participates in and supports Company-wide initiatives.
- Provide strategic leadership and seek out continuous improvement activities to advance the capabilities and technology of the Company toward the achievement of the organization’s overall strategic goals.
- Champions PDM's Strategy in other subsidiaries.
