The IT Support Co-op is responsible for performing entry level IT activities primarily focused on desktop and remote support for PC's, telecommunication devices, printers, peripherals, and software support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one end-user problem resolution over the phone or onsite working directly with end-user and/or remotely repairing the PC desktop via remote control screen sharing software.
• Assists with the deployment and maintenance of desktop hardware and technologies.
• Adheres to processes, standards, and security procedures.
• Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves workstation, software, printer, peripherals, telecommunications devices, and media services equipment issues, including building and deploying end-user replacement systems.
• Create documentation for troubleshooting and solutions.
• Knowledge of VOIP phones is a plus.
• Knowledge of Active Directory is a plus.
• Performs remote support via PC or telephone.
• Perform functions in accordance with accepted practices and company standards.
• Coordinate with other members of the project team.

Specifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Administration, Computer Science or MIS is preferred.
