We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while assisting with their purchases. Your ability to engage with customers, upsell products, and maintain a positive shopping experience will be key to your success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
- Utilize upselling techniques to promote additional products and services effectively.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring all sales are recorded correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales counter and product displays to enhance the shopping experience.
- Demonstrate products and provide detailed information to customers to aid in their purchasing decisions.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Conduct basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.

- Strong upselling skills with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus; ability to learn new technology quickly is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Experience in supervising or training staff is an advantage but not required.
- A background in automotive repair operations or tire product demonstrations is beneficial.
