Job Summary:
The Sales Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the sales team by managing customer inquiries, processing orders, coordinating logistics, and ensuring efficient communication between departments. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team in processing quotes, purchase orders, and sales contracts.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, delivery timelines, and product availability.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams (logistics, service, and finance) to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain CRM and sales records, updating customer information and tracking sales progress.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and other sales-related documentation.
- Support marketing initiatives, including trade show coordination and promotional campaigns.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide product information as needed.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and coordinating with warehouse teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2 years of experience in sales coordination, customer service, or administrative support (preferably in the CNC or industrial machinery industry).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of CNC machinery or manufacturing processes is a plus.
